Our mixed coloured glace cherries include Red, Green & Gold (Yellow). They make perfect Christmas cake decorations & can make an excellent alternative to covering a fruit cake in marzipan & icing. For baking inside the cake, one very useful tip is to wash the cherries to remove the excess syrup from them & coat in a thin layer of flour before adding to your cake mixture. This should help prevent the cherries from sinking to the bottom during baking & give a more even distribution throughout the cake.
