Halon is an Indian variety of garden cress that is grown widely by the Indian and Bangladeshi community on allotments. It is often grown to a larger size than the cress used for salads. Both the seeds and the leaves are used in cooking and for beneficial health properties.
You can sprinkle these seeds in your soups, salads and stews. Always remember to stay within the recommended limit.
Take 1 glass of water and soak 1 tablespoon of halom seeds in it overnight. The next morning, add 1 tsp fresh lemon juice to the water and drink.
