Preparation:
Simply open the packet and add it to a boiling water.
Recipe:
SINIGANG SA BAYABAS : (Makes 5 servings)
Ingredients:
1 pouch (40 g) Mama Sita’s
1 pc small onion – quartered
Guava Soup Base (Sinigang sa 2 cups (200 g) vegetables
Bayabas) Mix
1.1 lbs (½ kg) fish
(kangkong or long green
(preferably bangus
beans) – cut into 2′ lengths
“Milkfish”)
2 pcs (15 g) finger peppers
3 cups (750 mL) water
Fish sauce (to taste)
1 pc small tomato – quartered
Directions:
1. In a saucepan. combine water, onion, tomato and Mama Sita’s Sinigang sa Bayabas Mix. Bring to a boil.
2. Add fish and cook until almost done.
3. At this point, add your choice of vegetables
and continue cooking until fish is opaque and
flaky and vegetables are done.
