Shan chicken handi Masala blend of ground spices used extensively in Indian cuisine. The spices for masala are usually toasted to bring out more flavour and aroma, and then ground. The word masala simply means “spices”.
Ingredients
Whole spices of cinnamon, mace, peppercorns, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, and cardamon pods are toasted in a pan to release their aromatic flavours, then ground to a powder.
